Each household in Singapore will be able to redeem an oximeter from July 5 using the redemption tab that comes with each leaflet distributed, courtesy of Temasek Foundation.

The oximeter can help to detect seriously ill people who have unusually low blood oxygen levels but still feel well, as a result of Covid-19.

However, some of these free oximeters have ended up on Carousell almost immediately after their distribution.

Opportunistic sellers are reselling the oximeters at prices between S$20 and S$30.

With more listings appearing by the end of the first day of collection, here's one Carouseller who decided to lower the selling price for a fast deal.

And for those who cannot redeem a free oximeter for whatever reason but really hope to get one, there are more affordable options online.

For those who still have not redeemed yours, you have until Aug. 5 to do so.
