The rider appears to be using an electric wheelchair.

He is seen bare-footed with his hands on the handlebars. The back of the wheelchair has been fitted with a rack with dimensions that fit the pink foodpanda delivery bag perfectly.

According to China Times, the post was accompanied by a caption, "Today, I encountered this sight on my way and suddenly I felt, he is already so hardworking, what right do I have to say I'm suffering?"

Some of the other comments left by netizens include offering to give the rider a 20 per cent tip, while others joked that this may be the reason why their breakfast has not arrived after three hours.

The original poster added that he did not know the rider personally or his backstory, and was merely expressing his immediate thoughts upon encountering such a sight.

The post is no longer accessible at the time of writing.
