"Vincenzo" actor and 2PM member Taecyeon has had a very unpleasant encounter in Singapore.
According to Soompi, the 32-year-old Korean star revealed on the July 3 episode of "Knowing Bros" that fans had once barged into his hotel room in Singapore while he was sleeping.
The entertainment programme features celeb guests discussing their personal experiences and playing games with the hosts in a classroom setting.
Taecyeon, who was rooming with fellow boyband member Chansung for their tour, said that he was woken up by the sound of the door unlocking.
He subsequently heard subdued giggling from a group of females.
“So I was thinking to myself, ‘Did they enter the wrong room by accident? What is this? What’s going on?’ My heart was pounding in my ears,” Soompi translated.
The situation was made worse by the fact that the idols were sleeping without clothes on.
As the girls continued making their way further into the room, Taecyeon started swearing at them in English. The idol clarified that he used English as he was overseas, and that the fans would likely not understand Korean.
The girls proceeded to swear back at him, according to Taecyeon.
When asked why the fans would do that, Taecyeon said he didn't know.
Chansung, who was asleep up until this point, also started shouting when he saw bunch of strangers in their hotel room.
While it was never explained how the fans got into the room, Taecyeon suspected that they had stolen a keycard.
He later made a complaint to the hotel's management, who gifted them a bottle of champagne as apology.
While Taecyeon did not specify when the incident took place, 2PM was last in Singapore in end 2011 for the Hands Up Asia Tour.
