SBS Transit has apologised on social media after a member of public pointed out outdated Hari Raya Aidilfitri stickers on its MRT train.
Outdated stickers
Commuter Syed Mahdzar Al-Shahab was travelling via the North-East Line train recently when he noticed several decals celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri decorating the train's interior.
However, the event had passed a month ago.
Tagging SBS Transit in his post, Syed added that he hoped the operator could "double check" in the future.
He also joked that at this point in time, it was already Hari Raya Aidiladha, or Hari Raya Haji, which is coming up on July 20.
SBS Transit addressed Syed's post on July 13.
It apologised for the stickers that were still up despite the fact that the festival had ended a while ago, and explained that it was "due to an oversight".
SBS Transit also apologised for the distress caused.
The outdated stickers have since been removed.
