Malaysia has reported 13,215 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (July 15).

This is the highest daily number of Covid-19 cases in the country thus far.
Reached five digits for third consecutive day
It is also the third consecutive day in which the number of new cases in Malaysia has reached five digits.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the country now stands at 880,782.
Breakdown of cases in states
According to the Malaysian Ministry of Health's Twitter, Selangor reported 6,120 new cases on July 15.
Negeri Sembilan is the second highest state with 1,603 cases, and Kuala Lumpur comes in third with 1,499 cases.
The number of cases in the other states are as follows:
- Kedah: 695
- Johor: 599
- Penang: 509
- Melaka: 484
- Sabah: 370
- Sarawak: 363
- Perak: 344
- Kelantan: 255
- Pahang: 222
- Terengganu: 70
- Putrajaya: 53
- Labuan: 26
- Perlis: 3
