M'cyclist, 39, dies after accident with prime mover & lorry along Loyang Avenue

The male drivers of the prime mover and lorry are assisting with police investigations.

A 39-year-old man has died after an accident along Loyang Avenue on Thursday (July 29) morning.

The picture showed a number of police officers standing around a blue tent on the road.

A blue tent is often used by the police to cover the body of a deceased.

Another photo and a video were also shared on SG Chinese Community's Facebook group page.

Man pronounced dead at the scene

Responding to queries from Mothership, the police said that they were alerted to an accident involving a prime mover, a lorry and a motorcycle along Loyang Avenue towards Tampines Avenue 7 at 8:14am on July 29.

A 39-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.

The male drivers of the prime mover and lorry, aged 40 and 46 respectively, are assisting with police investigations.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force told Mothership that they were alerted to a road traffic accident at the junction of Loyang Avenue and Pasir Ris Drive 3 at about 8:20am on July 29.

A person was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
