4 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore on July 1, no unlinked cases

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 10 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Thursday (July 1).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 62,589.

Four locally transmitted cases

There are four new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection.

Three of these cases are have already been placed on quarantine, while the remaining case was detected through surveillance.

All cases are linked to previous ones.

In addition, there are six imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

One was detected upon arrival in Singapore, while five developed the illness during their SHN or isolation.

Further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued later tonight.
