5 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 2 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 12 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Wednesday (Jul. 7).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 62,652.

Five locally transmitted cases

There are five new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection.

Three are linked to previous cases and have been placed on quarantine, while two are currently unlinked.

In addition, there are seven imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Five were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while two developed illness during SHN or isolation.

Further updates will be shared by MOH tonight.
