Durian season is upon us. Besides the pong (or fragrance) of fresh durians everywhere, the release of durian-themed pastries is also an indicator of the harvest season.

Located along Kim Keat Road, The Ang Ku Kueh Hut is offering its seasonal Blue Pea Durian Ang Ku Kueh for durian lovers.

If durian is not up your alley, The Ang Ku Kueh Hut also offers hazelnut and pistachio flavours, in addition to other traditional offerings.

Blue pea durian

First launched in July 2020, The Ang Ku Kueh Hut has brought back the Blue Pea Durian Ang Ku Kueh.

Comprising a mix of fresh durian and green bean, this seasonal flavour is priced at S$12.50 for a box of five and S$25 for a box of 10.

Hazelnut & pistachio

Often compared to a Ferrero Rocher, the Hazelnut Ang Ku Kueh (S$9 for a box of five) is made with nut butter and a hint of cocoa powder.

Initially available only for a limited time only, the Pistachio Ang Ku Kueh (S$10 for a box of five) has since become a permanent menu item.

Other flavours include Peanut, Green Bean, Red Bean and Yam, all of which are priced at S$6 for a box of five.

You can also get the ang ku kueh in boxes of assorted flavours or in 10 of the same flavour.

Back in 2020, The Ang Ku Kueh Hut also released Black Sesame and Cempedak flavours for a limited time.

The Ang Ku Kueh Hut also accepts pre-orders, available for self-collection and delivery.

Self-collection orders can be picked up from its store from 1pm to 3pm while delivery orders will be dispatched from 12pm to 5:30pm.
