Red tortoise cake, also known as ang ku kueh, is a Chinese pastry that consists of a sweet filling encased in a soft, sticky skin made of glutinous rice flour.

They are traditionally bright red in colour and are often prepared for special occasions like a newborn baby's first month celebration and elderly folks' birthdays.

Pastel ang ku kuehs

Jixiang Confectionary has launched pre-orders for pistachio ang ku kueh in pastel colours for store pick-up or delivery between June 18 to 20, 2021 for their Father's Day special.
