Jurong Noodle Stall looking for new employee, will pay S$888 referral fee

They are looking for a stall assistant.

A noodle stall at Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre is hiring.

The stall, Cai Ji Ke Kou Mian, is giving away a S$888 referral fee, for anyone who can find them a new stall assistant.

Huat ah.

Base salary of S$2500 with overtime pay

The role is for a stall assistant, to "take orders, collect money, and try to make sure customers are happy".

According to the Facebook post on June 6, the base pay for the role is S$2500, with potential overtime pay available should the assistant have to work past the slated hours of 7:30am to 3:30pm.

The employee will get Mondays off.

The caveat for the referral is that the new employee must complete at least three months of employment, before the referrer gets the payment.

Background on Cai Ji Ke Kou Mian

According to food blog Good Food Everyday, Cai Ji Ke Kou Mian is a family-run business that sells a variety of noodles, including Ke Kou Mian, Dao Xiao Noodles, and Mee Hoon Kueh.

The stall's 21-year-old owner, Parry, had wanted to own a noodle stall since his polytechnic days.

He finally did so after completing his National Service.

Noodles start from S$4 per bowl for the non-spicy version and S$4.50 for the spicy version.
