12 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 1 is unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 14 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Sunday (Jun. 27).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,544.

There are 12 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection. 11 are linked to previous cases, of whom 10 were all already placed on quarantine. One was detected through surveillance.

The remaining case is currently unlinked.

Based on MOH's investigations so far, all of the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.

Two of the cases announced today are imported, and both were placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, one is a returning Singapore Permanent Resident.
