Fans of the famous Tokyo Banana might be pleased to know that the snack is available in Singapore.

Isetan Singapore is selling what is arguably the most famous souvenir from Japan at S$9.90 per box.

Each box contains four individually-wrapped Tokyo Bananas.

Created in 1991, Tokyo Bananas are light and fluffy banana-shaped sponge cakes which contain banana custard. The custard is apparently made from real bananas.

According to Isetan Singapore, the ones it offers are frozen and contain a "new quality banana custard cream" which makes them suitable for cold thawing.

The department store advises that you consume the cakes within seven days of defrosting them.

Before you go purchasing it at the Isetan, note that each customer is limited to buying a maximum of two boxes.
