Man, 34, flung off e-bike after colliding with car along Upper Changi Road

Police investigations are ongoing.

A car had collided with an e-bike on Saturday (June 26) evening along Upper Changi Road.

A video of the incident was uploaded onto SG Road Vigilante's Facebook.

The video shows an e-bike rider making a right turn when a car crashed straight into it.

The rider subsequently flung onto the ground.

However, he later stood up and took a few steps before sitting at the kerb.

Alleged that it was a hit and run

The video was accompanied by a caption alleging that the incident was a hit and run, and that the e-bike rider was making an illegal turn.

"Hit & run... ebike making a illegal right turn against traffic flow. (sic)"

The same video was shared on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page.

Police says it's not a hit and run, male rider sent to hospital

Responding to queries from Mothership, the police said that they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a power-assisted bicycle along 452 Upper Changi Road at 6:29pm on June 26, 2021.

The 34-year-old male rider was conscious when conveyed to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The police have also confirmed with Mothership that the incident was not a hit and run.
