4 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S’pore on June 8, with 3 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed nine new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on Jun. 8, 2021.

This brings the total number of cases to 62,219 .

There are four new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection.

One is linked to previous cases, and had already earlier been placed on quarantine.

The other three are unlinked, with one of the three residing in a dormitory.

In addition, there are five imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, two are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).

Further updates will be shared by MOH this evening.
