The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 11 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on Sunday, June 20.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore to 62,414.

Nine locally-transmitted cases, two imported cases

There are nine locally-transmitted cases, with no dormitory cases.

Three are linked to previous cases, and they have already been placed on quarantine.

Among the other six cases detected through surveillance, one is linked to previous cases and five are currently unlinked.

Two of the new cases are imported; they were both placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore.

One is a returning Singaporean.

Four new locations

MOH regularly updates a list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases for more than 30 minutes when they were infectious.

Four new locations were added to the list on June 20:

  • Causeway Point
  • Teo Heng at Bedok Point
  • Market Square at Downtown East
  • NTUC Fairprice at Block 166 Bukit Merah Central

The new locations visited have been highlighted and can be found in the full list of locations visited by cases in the community during their infectious period in the past 14 days below:

Change in time

It is worth noting that the time for a location visited by a confirmed case while infectious had been adjusted by MOH for two dates.

The location was Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu at 56 Eng Hoon Street.

Change in time:

  • June 12: Revised from 6:30am to 5pm, to 6am to 5pm.
  • June 14: Revised from 6:30am to 4pm, to 5am to 4:20pm.

No need to avoid locations

Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified by MOH.

As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App, SingPass Mobile, or this website to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.

There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, MOH said.

The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
