Japanese actress Yui Aragaki, 32, and singer Gen Hoshino, 40, are getting married.

Singaporeans might be more familiar with Aragaki, who acted in popular films such as "Koizora" (Sky of Love) and "Code Blue".

The announcement was made on Hoshino's social media page on May 19.

They said that they will support each other moving forward, and hope to grow as a couple with their fans' continued support.

Aragaki and Hoshino were cast in a 2016 drama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu", also known as "The Full-time Wife Escapist".

A manga adaptation, the drama portrayed the "contract marriage" between a jobless graduate and a businessman who has no experience in love.
