27 Covid-19 community cases in S'pore on May 18, 11 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 38 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12 pm on May. 18.

This brings the total number of cases to 61,651.

There are 27 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 16 are linked to previous cases.

11 of them are currently unlinked.

Amongst them, 14 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

MOH said that there are no new cases in the dormitories.

In addition, there are 11 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. Of these, six are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
