A jaywalker in Singapore was sent to the hospital after he collided with a van while dashing across traffic.

Hit by van

The van's dashcam footage was posted to SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

The vehicle could be seen moving slowly on the left lane along Rivervale Crescent in Sengkang, with a long line of stationary vehicles on its right.

Just as the van sped up, a man in a red shirt abruptly darted out from a blind spot between two vehicles on the right, and immediately got hit by the van.

As a result of the impact, the man was sent flying into the air and landed hard on the kerb.
