Hillion Mall, Causeway Point & Paya Lebar Square among malls visited by infectious Covid-19 cases

Authorities urge Singaporeans to please stay at home and don't head out unless necessary.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 27 new cases in the community today out of a total of 38 new cases.

Of the 27 community cases reported, 16 are linked to previous cases while 11 are currently unlinked.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community has increased from 40 cases in the week before to 163 cases in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased from 10 cases in the week before to 48 cases in

the past week.

MOH regularly updates a list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases for more than 30 minutes when they were infectious.

About 30 new locations added to the list, highlighted in yellow, include a number of shopping malls such as Hillion Mall, Causeway Point, Junction 10 and Paya Lebar Square.

On May 18, MOH also urged those who visited JEM or Westgate shopping malls between May 10 and 14 to take the free Covid-19 swab test.

The ministry said that this is to "pre-emptively mitigate any potential risk of wider, undetected community transmission".
