14 Covid-19 community cases in S’pore on May 27, three unlinked

There is a total of 24 new cases in Singapore today.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 24 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on May 27, 2021.

This brings the total number of cases to 61,940.

There are 15 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 14 are from the community.

12 are linked to previous cases and three of them are unlinked.

There is one new case in a dormitory.

In addition, there are nine imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, seven are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).

Amongst these new cases, all have already been placed on quarantine earlier.
