Here's another Korean drama that you can potentially binge-watch.

"Scripting Your Destiny", a fantasy romance show where a deity falls for a mortal, is the latest creation from writer Kim Eun-sook, series writer Eun Sun-woo, and director Kim Byung-soo.

If the general outline sounds familiar, that's because Kim Eun-sook is also known previous hits like "Descendants of the Sun", "The King: Eternal Monarch", "The Heirs", and yes, "Goblin".

As it is, the drama is sprinkled with references to "Goblin".

Synopsis and stills

The synopsis for "Scripting Your Destiny":

"Deity Shin Ho Yoon (Ki Do Hoon) dictates the destinies of mortals. Stumped after being tasked to write the life script of Go Chae Kyung (Jeon So Nee), he decides to plagiarise Chae Kyung 's unreleased romance novels, pairing her up with drama producer Jung Ba Reum (Kim Woo Seok). However, things get complicated as Ho Yoon develops feelings for Chae Kyung too."

The Korea Times quoted director Kim as saying: "The most unique part about this series is that there are no annoying characters, no villains. This is a feel-good series that people can enjoy lightly."

The series just started airing on March 26, but all 10 episodes, each lasting around 25 minutes, are already out.

You can watch it (legally) on iQIYI, although non-subscription members will not get full access to the series immediately — you'll have to wait for one new episode every Monday and Tuesday, at 12pm.
