Man waits on hospital ledge to ensure mom with Covid-19 is well, goes every day till her passing

An elderly woman was hospitalised in Hebron State Hospital, West Bank, after she tested positive for Covid-19.

Her son Jihad Al-Suwaiti, due to a variety of safety measures, was initially not allowed to visit.

Which led to him reportedly scaling the hospital wall in West Bank to keep watch over his mother.

According to reports, the man was the youngest of her children. Despite the ban on visitors, he insisted on waiting outside the ledge every day to ensure his mother was treated well.

His mother was also reportedly suffering from leukaemia.Despite the ban though, his persistence appears to have paid off, with Al Jazeera posting a series of photos showing the man in the room with his mother, before her passing.
