Earlier on July 15, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported an additional 249 new cases of Covid-19, taking the total to 46,878.

They also reported some locations where confirmed Covid-19 cases visited during their infectious period, i.e. 14 days.

These include:

  • Tat Fong Paint Pte Ltd, July 1
  • Cheng Chew Wah Agency, 20 Frankel Terrace, July 1
  • All India Supermarket, July 5
  • Tekka Centre, July 8
  • Apple Orchard Rd, July 10

And here's the breakdown of those cases:

Imported cases: 5

There are five imported cases reported today.

One is a Singaporean who returned from India on July 3.

Another two cases are Work Pass or Student’s Pass holders who are currently employed or study in Singapore.

A fourth case is a Long-Term Visit Pass holder whose spouse is a Singapore Permanent Resident.

All of them had been placed on 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore, and had been tested while serving their SHN.

The last case was conveyed in a dedicated transport from Changi Airport to a vessel at Jurong Port upon arrival in Singapore, where he remained until he was placed on quarantine at a government quarantine facility.

Cases in the community: 15

There are 15 cases in the community today, updated from earlier on July 15, as one case was re-classified after contact tracing.

Five cases are linked to previous cases or clusters. All were asymptomatic, but were detected through proactive swabbing and testing.

The other 10 cases are currently unlinked. Nine of these were detected through screening of workers in essential services living outside dormitories. Investigations for the remaining case are ongoing.

Cases in dormitories: 229

229 of the new cases have been detected in worker dormitories.

The dormitory at 11 Tuas Avenue 10 has been cleared, and now houses only recovered individuals and those who have recently tested negative for Covid-19 infection. As such, the cluster has now been closed.

Discharged cases

251 more cases have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. This brings the total number of discharged cases to 42,988.

There are currently 159 confirmed cases in hospitals, 3,704 isolated and cared for in community facilities, and none in the Intensive Care Unit.
