Dining out will be permissible come June 19, 2020.

In addition to the safety precautions in place, Safe Distancing Ambassadors (SDAs) will also be reminding diners at hawker centres and coffeeshops to properly dispose of their used tissues and wet wipes after meals.

Diners are similarly encouraged to return their used crockeries and trays to designated tray return racks.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) added,

"There should be no concern of cleaners losing their jobs as they will still have cleaning tasks to perform at the tray return points or centralised dishwashing stations."

Minimising risk for cleaners and other diners

Tissues and wet wipes may be contaminated as they are often used to cover one’s nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.

This means that they may come into contact with spit and mucous.

Such discharges from persons with Covid-19, or other infectious respiratory illnesses, pose a risk to others who touch them directly, or who touch the surfaces where they were placed.

By cleaning your own trays and tissues, it will minimise the risk to cleaners and other diners.

NEA said that these habits must be "sustained as a way of life beyond Covid-19."

Here's an infographic to summarise the points:
