Female motorcyclist, 24, taken to hospital after colliding with taxi at CTE

Investigations are ongoing.

A motorcycle crashed into the rear of a taxi along along the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE), near Jalan Bahagia on June 13.

A video of the accident was uploaded to Facebook:

Taxi cut across lane, didn't see motorcyclist

In the video, the taxi can be seen cutting across a lane at the last minute to head towards the Jalan Bahagia exit.

Failing to notice the motorcycle that was approaching, the two vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist fell to the ground while bits and pieces of the bike scattered on the road.

Photos of the incident were also posted online.

Motorcyclist was conscious when taken to hospital

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said that they were alerted to the accident at 3:16pm on June 13.

The 24-year-old female motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
