The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on June 23 that the Seoul Garden outlet at Northpoint City was listed as one of the public places visited by community cases during their infectious period on June 19.

Even though MOH said there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has engaged the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.

Restaurant disinfected

According to a press release by the Seoul Garden Group on June 24, the restaurant has disinfected both the Seoul Garden and Seoul Garden Hotpot premises at Northpoint city.

The eatery had engaged a professional cleaning service as approved by the NEA.

The outlet had been closed until 4pm on June 24 for the premises to be disinfected, and it has since resumed operations.

Seoul Garden Group added that all employees aged 45 and above will be sent for a swab test to verify their status.

The Seoul Garden outlets are not allowed to have shared self-service amenities, such as a buffet spread, in light of phase two safety guidelines.

Customers can now choose from a la carte grill sets served daily during lunch and dinner.

A la carte buffet will be made available for dinner and the weekends, with full table service by employees.

There is now a 120-minute, or two-hour dining time limit for customers.

Seoul Garden Group added they have been adhering to national standards of precautionary measures against Covid-19, such as conducting health checks and temperature screening for employees twice a day across all restaurants, with SafeEntry, queue management, and safe-distancing in place.

They have also been performing full outlet sanitisation and disinfection at least twice a day, with tables and chairs sanitised each time after a dine-in customer leaves the premises.
