Phase 2 has begun, which means dining-in is possible. Hawker centres unsurprisingly saw more customers coming in.

Which might sometimes lead to increased tension.

A video circulating on Facebook shows a duck rice stall owner shouting at a person queuing up at the stall next to his.

The incident took place at Pasir Panjang at around 7am on June 20.

In the video, the stall owner and a customer in white can be seen trading barbs at one another.

Another man in a camo-print shirt is seen trying to calm down the man down during the first half of the video, to no avail.

A lady also comes up to the fracas, seemingly to cool tensions, but is promptly told by the duck stall owner to go away.

Even after the customer gets his order and moves away from the duck stall owner, the fighting doesn't stop, with both men exchanging vulgarities.

A bystander then begins recording the duck stall owner right in front of him.

The owner slaps the phone out of the man's hand.

According to Chinese media, the ruckus started because the owner took issue with the line from the next stall cutting into his stall.

The owner told Zaobao that he was going in and out of his stall, and the customer was blocking his way.

He had then told the customer who had encroached into his stall's space "nicely" to move. The customer however apparently did not comply.

This was then followed by the scenes in the video.

According to the owner, he had pulled down his mask so he could speak clearly. Other stall owners Zaobao spoke to claimed the man gets into tiffs with customers about five or six times in the past three years.
