With Covid-19 hitting hard, more businesses have been closing down.
This time, a local bakery will be exiting the F&B industry.
Lease ends in end-June
On June 3, local bakery Out of The Cake Box published a Facebook post sharing the news of its impending closure with its lease ending at the end of June.
After operating for close to six years, it said that its last day was on June 15.In response to questions from followers, Out of the Cake Box said that the decision to close its business wasn't directly impacted by Covid-19.
It did, however, "hasten" its decision to not renew the lease.
Taking a short hiatus
But that's not to say that this closure is the end of the bakery.
With more than 35,000 followers on Facebook, the bakery mentioned that it is just taking a short hiatus and will be back with "several exciting new projects in the pipeline".
However, there is no indication when Out of the Cake Box will return.
