According to CNN, West has donated a total of US$2 million (S$2.79 million) to help the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.

Arbery, a 25-year-old African-American man, sustained a fatal injury after being shot while jogging outside. He was unarmed. Three men have been arrested in relation to his death.

Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American woman, was an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

She was shot eight times when three police officers broke into her Kentucky apartment looking for drugs. The incident prompted the FBI to investigate her death.

College fund

West's representative told CNN that an education plan has been set up to cover Gianna Floyd's college education.

The six-year-old daughter of Floyd told Good Morning America in a recent interview that she missed her father, and described him as a fun man who would play with her.

She was photographed on re-tired NBA star Stephen Jackson's shoulders saying, "Daddy changed the world".

Gianna is reported to be close to Jackson, and refers to him as an "uncle".

The rest of the money will help to pay for legal fees for Arbery and Taylor's families and black-owned businesses that are struggling.

These businesses are located in Chicago, where West is from, as well as other U.S. cities.
