48-year-old male Indian national who previously recovered from Covid-19 dies from heart disease

The man was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on May 15.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on June 23 that case 28,388, a 48-year-old male Indian national, had died earlier the same day.

Confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on 15 May

The man was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on May 15, and had recovered from the infection.

After fainting in the early morning of June 23 at a temporary housing site for migrant workers, he had been sent to the emergency department at Singapore General Hospital .

However, he later passed away from ischaemic heart disease.

Lowest number of cases reported since April 7

Earlier today, the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 119 new cases of Covid-19 infection as of Tuesday, June 23, 12pm.

This is the lowest number of new cases reported in a day in June. It is also the lowest daily number since April 7, 2020.
