Prolific actor and online sensation Johnny Sins has extended his hearty congratulations to the graduating 2020 cohort from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Johnny Sins congratulates NUS graduating class of 2020

Sins, a veteran American actor known for his physically-demanding roles, shared a video dedicated to the graduating NUS class of 2020, congratulating them on their achievement during this Covid-19 pandemic.

In his video, he told the new graduates to follow their passion like he does, and "do what you love to do":

"I just want to congratulate all of you guys for graduating from the University of Singapore, class of 2020!

I know it's kind of a crazy time to be graduating right now, but my advice to you is -- follow your heart and do what you love to do, not what someone else tells you, you should be doing.

Because, if you're true to yourself and do what you love to do, you're never going to work anyway, So, you can do a career that you love and you'll never feel like you're working.

Kinda like I do."

Sins, 41, has played a doctor, lawyer, teacher, astronaut, and plumber for his various onscreen roles.

Takes requests for US$109

Sins' hearty congratulations comes at a small price though.

He was engaged to give a shout-out.

Sins, who is also a YouTuber and "shout out specialist", takes shout-out requests on Cameo for USD$109 (S$152) for a short clip of himself relaying a message, such as for birthdays, weddings, or perhaps a graduating class.

This also means that it's likely that a student from NUS sent in a request to Sins for this paid engagement.

Sins, who has been in the industry since 2006, is considered one of the most popular actors.

He has won a coveted award in 2018, seen as an acknowledgment of his body of work.
