The start of Phase 2 has been eventful, with crowds and fights breaking out at Holland Village one day into the second stage of Singapore's reopening.

A separate incident of brawling recently occurred at Bukit Batok as well, involving several men.

Raining punches and kicks

A series of videos posted by one Andy Chua shows three men ganging up on one at a coffee shop.

A man in a light blue shirt is first seen advancing on a man clad in black, dousing him in what could be water or beer, as others cheer in the background.

Both throw punches and another bald man boldly joins the fray.

The target of the attack falls to the ground, but manages to bring down the other two, culminating in a tangled mess of limbs on the floor.

A fourth man in light blue then joins in and all three start raining punches and kicks on the man in black sitting on the ground.

In the third video, the target is seen walking away from the coffee shop, followed by the other men who proceed to throw in a last punch or two.

The man behind the camera can be heard talking to the stall holder of a durian stall beside the coffee shop, saying: "Look at your stall, it's all messed up now".

He then says "That man is drunk, starting fights," though it is unsure which man he was referring to.

Singapore Police told Mothership that they were first alerted to the incident at around 10:38pm on June 19.

Three Singaporean men between the ages of 48 and 50 have since been arrested for affray.

The men will also be investigated for breaching safe distancing measures.

Police investigations are ongoing.
