FairPrice outlet in Taman Jurong another place visited by persons with Covid-19

The NTUC FairPrice outlet in Taman Jurong Shopping Centre has been added to the list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases.

On Friday, May 27, the Ministry of Health said persons who visited the supermarket on May 20 from 7pm to 8pm, and May 22 from 8.30pm to 9pm, should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit.

They should see a doctor promptly and inform the doctor of their exposure history if they develop symptoms such as cough, sore throat and runny nose, as well as fever and loss of taste or smell.

The MOH previously listed several places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases.

These include:

- FairPrice Xtra outlet, NTUC FairPrice outlet and the Japanese Food Street in Jurong Point,

- Block 505 market and food centre in Jurong West,

- FairPrice Finest in Bukit Panjang Plaza,

- NTUC FairPrice in Hillion Mall, and

- Wet market at Block 963 Jurong West Street 91

On May 29, MOH confirmed 611 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, bringing the total to 33,860.
