On May 18, a young McDonald's fan in Singapore was surprised with McNuggets after a three-week closure by the fast food chain.

The treat made Adam Bin Mohammad Irwan cry tears of joy.

His mum, Madam Wati, explained that his "overreaction" was due to his sensory sensitivity and mild autism.

Since then, the video has gone viral and was reported by various media outlets,

A Hari Raya surprise

But the surprise doesn't stop there.

On May 24, the McDonald's outlet at Pioneer Mall sent the family more McDonald's meals to celebrate Hari Raya.

The outlet's manager, Mr. Alan, personally delivered the food.

With a table full of McDonald's treats, Adam said that he didn't know his original video would go viral, and thanked everyone for watching it.

The family shared the food with their neighbours, they added.

Madam Wati also shared a few McNuggets of wisdom from the incident:

"Let’s all be kind to one another. The world is already a crazy place. Spread love not hate. Here's wishing all our muslim friends and family, Selamat Hari Raya! Peace ✌🏽"
