The Dalgona coffee trend may be over, but there are still some who haven't tried the creamy drink, including this 91-year-old grandfather.

You might recognise him as the one who tried McSpicy burger for the first time.

The time, the popular grandpa is back to try Dalgona coffee.

Making the coffee

After inviting the elderly man to drink "kopi", grandson Emerson Gideon Ng sat him down with the ingredients for dalgona coffee (coffee powder, sugar, and hot water).

Now comes the dreaded whisking

When the grandson told him that it would take 10 minutes of whisking, the grandfather looked up in shock.

"So long?" he exclaimed in dialect, before continuing to whisk the mixture.

Despite the long wait, he was adamant about mixing it himself and even took the whisk back from his granddaughter when she tried to help.

He seemed satisfied with his work too, and even shot his grandson a dead-pan look when told to stir the mixture faster.

Reaction to adoring fans

The grandfather quickly cracked a smile though, after being told that many people had called him cute in the previous video.

Seems like the idea of fame hasn't quite hit him yet.

He subsequently got distracted by the comments and forgot all about the Dalgona mixture.

It wasn't until his granddaughter had whisked it into a light, foamy texture that he realised it had changed.

The moment we've been waiting for

After stirring the Dalgona foam into the milk, the grandfather went in for a drink.

When it came time to review it, he merely smiled and said, "Actually there's not much taste," before leaving immediately.

Basically "okok bye", as captioned by his grandson.
