Some parts of Malaysia experienced slight tremors from an earthquake in Indonesia earlier on.
According to a Facebook post by the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the earthquake occurred in Northern Sumatra, at a depth of 10km and with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter Scale at around 4:20pm on April 30.
The post further added that shaking from the earthquake was felt in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and parts of Selangor and Perak.
However, there was no threat of a tsunami.
