Utah Jazz Centre Rudy Gobert, two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, has tested positive for Covid-19.

A match between the Jazz and OKC Thunder was abruptly called off right before tip-off.

The postponement was later attributed to Gobert's illness.

Gobert, a French player known as the Stifle Tower, had "jokingly" touched the mics two days earlier as he headed out of a presser.

He is, however, reportedly feeling "good, strong and stable".

The NBA season has been suspended as well.
