Samsung will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the S20, S20+ and the S20 Ultra 5G.

The Galaxy Z flip can be seen as a more compact (or practical) version of the Galaxy Fold.

Singapore will also be the first market in Southeast Asia to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

Here’s what it looks like:

The phone folds in the centre, and it unfolds to be a full 6.7-inch phone. It has two 12MP rear cameras, a 3,300 mAh battery, and supports wireless charging.

The phone also can stay open at multiple angles, which allows for multi-tasking.

The Galaxy Z Flip will be available from Feb. 14, 2020, from 8 am via major telcos' online stores and the Samsung Online Store at S$1,998.

It will be available in two colours, Mirror Purple and Mirror Black.

S20 series

Following the Galaxy Z Flip, the S20 series will also be launched.

Three different variants are available - the S20, S20+ and the S20 Ultra 5G.

The S20 Ultra 5G will be the first device in Singapore that is able to offer 5G network capabilities.

However, users will only be able to use the device with the 4G network here for now, until the 5G network is made available in Singapore.

As the name suggests, the S20 ultra has the best specifications amongst the three, with a 40MP front camera and an incredible 5,000 mAh battery.

All three S20 models come with 128GB built-in memory and can hold up to 1TB of external memory via an external memory card.

The S20 will retail at S$1,298, the S20+ at S$1,498, and the S20 Ultra will set you back by a whopping S$1,898, without a contract plan or trade-in.

You can pre-order or register your interest for the S20 series via the major telcos, the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, selected consumer electronics & IT Stores, Lazada Singapore and Shopee Singapore from Feb. 12, 2020, from 1 pm onwards.

Those who pre-order the S20+ or S20 Ultra 5G will be entitled to a complimentary set of Galaxy Buds+ worth S$268 as well, once full payment for their pre-order has been collected.
