Covid-19: 36-year-old Chinese national on work pass is the only new case on Feb. 20

It is the fourth day in a row where Singapore experienced more recovered cases.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced one new case of Covid-19 infection on Feb. 20, 2020.

This brings the total number of cases up to 85.

Three more patients (Cases 6, 16 and 66) have been discharged on the same day.

In all, 37 persons have fully recovered from the infection.

Case 85

Case 85 is a 36-year-old male Chinese national who is a Singapore Work Pass holder and has no recent travel history to China.

He was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on the morning of Feb. 20.

He is currently warded in an isolation room at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

Contact tracing is underway to establish any links to previous cases or travel history to China.

Of the 48 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital, most are stable or improving. Four are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).
