[Editor's note, Feb. 25 7:41pm, A previous version of this article inaccurately stated that case 91 had not tested positive for the virus. She had not been tested for the virus because she had not fulfilled the criteria to be a suspected case. We have since amended our article to reflect this change.]

MOH has reported that there's one new case of Covid-19 in Singapore on Tuesday (Feb. 25).

The female patient had been to Sengkang General Hospital after experiencing onset of symptoms on Jan. 26, but was not tested for Covid-19.

The total number of cases in Singapore currently stands at 91.

As of Tuesday (Feb. 25), 12pm, 58 patients have been discharged. Seven remain in the ICU.

Case 91

Case 91 is the wife of Case 83, who was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Feb. 19 and discharged on Feb. 21.

The couple is linked to the Life Church and Missions cluster, as well as the Mei Hwan Drive cluster.

The couple had attended a Life Church and Missions service on Jan. 19.

Case 91 experienced onset of respiratory symptoms and visited Sengkang General Hospital on Jan. 26, as well as several clinics. Despite showing symptoms, she was not tested for Covid-19 because she did not fit the criteria to be a suspected case (i.e. no recent travel history to mainland China).

The couple then attended a Chinese New Year family gathering at Mei Hwan Drive on Jan. 25.

By the time the police reached out to her for contact tracing, she had stopped experiencing respiratory symptoms, though her exact recovery date is unknown.

Previous cases

As of Monday (Feb. 24), 37 cases were still in the hospital with seven in the ICU. 53 have also fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from the hospital.

The Ministry of Health also confirmed yesterday that Patient 89 is a Filipino national.

MOH also told Mothership he is the individual who visited the GymBoxx in Bishan.
