Covid-19: S’pore now has more fully recovered patients than Covid-19 patients

More discharged patients in Singapore than new cases for 5 days in a row.

There are more good news than bad news in the Ministry of Health’s latest update on Covid-19 cases on Feb. 20.

The good news is that 10 more Covid-19 patients (Cases 3, 23, 27, 50, 51, 63, 70, 83 and 84) have been discharged from the hospital.

The bad news is that MOH has confirmed one more case of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, bringing to the total number of confirmed cases to 86.

This is the fifth day in the row where Singapore experienced more discharged cases than confirmed cases.

To date, 47 patients have fully recovered from Covid-19 and are discharged from the hospitals.

In other words, nearly 55 per cent of the cases in Singapore have fully recovered.

Of the 39 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital, most are stable and improving.

Five are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).
