Note: This article has been amended to emphasise that Airbnb Experiences and Airbnb stays are different, as short-term home sharing remains illegal in Singapore.

An Airbnb experience in Yishun -- Khatib, to be precise -- is offering mahjong classes for a fee.

The two-and-a-half-hour lessons are conducted in English.

Food and drinks will also be provided.

It is aimed at overseas visitors to Singapore who are intrigued by the game as seen on the Crazy Rich Asians movie.

The mahjong lessons are taught using pictorial instruction sheets for the benefit of those who do not understand Chinese.

All they need to know is how to differentiate shapes -- and learn the rules of the game.

The host, a Singaporean, has an Instagram page @mahjonglah, with more photos of the experience.

Airbnb Experiences has been marketed as offering one-of-a-kind activities hosted by local knowledgeable host experts.

The price of a session starts from S$55 per pax.

For a group of four, it’s S$200.

Hint: It takes money to make more money.
