PMD user, 19, arrested for riding on top of Bukit Panjang walkway shelter

He was arrested the very next day.

A 19-year-old male has been arrested by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for his suspected involvement in a case of rash act.

Said act, as you might already know, involves riding his personal mobility device (PMD) on a walkway shelter.

The news first went viral on Nov. 18.

A day later on Nov. 19, the police received a report of the incident.

Through ground enquiries and images from police camera, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division managed to identify the man and arrested him on the same day.

Investigations revealed that the incident had occurred along Lompang Road on Nov. 18.

Anyone convicted for rash act which endangers life or the personal safety of others will be liable to imprisonment of up to six months, a fine of up to S$2,500, or both.

Investigations against the man are ongoing.
