Perhaps to give themselves a competitive edge, convenience store 7-Eleven has been importing a couple of items from Korea recently.

Their latest import from the country is the Sprite Pear soda, which apparently has lower sugar levels.

Each bottle goes for S$2.50.

Unfortunately, according to a colleague, the taste of pear wasn’t as distinct as it should be.

We also don’t know what said colleague has been doing in his free time, but the first swig apparently tasted like whiteboard marker.

If you’re hoping for a soda version of pear juice, this might disappoint.

If you would like to try something new, this is sufficiently interesting.
