National conversation has turned to the use of Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) since the ban of e-scooters on footpaths on Nov. 5, 2019.

While some empathised with the plight of food delivery personnel who require PMDs to eke out a living, others expressed their support for the new policy.

Despite, and perhaps even because of the polarising situation, one GrabFood rider met with a "kind soul" on the job.

The rider, known as @Hyqaaaaaaaa on Twitter, expressed her gratitude to the customer in a post on Nov. 7:

Safety first

While placing the food order, the customer left a safety reminder for the rider:

Subsequently, when the rider informed the customer of her route, the customer replied "no worries" and even asked the rider to collect the packet of mee goreng that had been left out for her.

And here is the mee goreng:

What a nice customer with a lot of containers.
