20-year-old Xu Yang Feng was just five when he took his very first flight.

Some might expect a first time flyer to be a bundle of nerves and excitement, but he bucked the trend, thoroughly enjoying himself, and even managing to snag a shot with a flight attendant.

Here it is.

That flight must have left quite an impression on him because 15 years later, he took his first steps to becoming an attendant as well.

According to Beijing Youth Paper Daily, Xu, who is a third year student in the aviation crew of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China, started his internship with China Eastern Airlines in October, 2019.

And while his flight career might be just taking off, he met a familiar face during his internship.

Xu told Beijing Youth Paper Daily that he had recognised Fang from all those years ago.

While Fang, who has been in the company for 20 years, has been on countless flights by now, she claims to have remembered taking a picture with Fang all those years ago, because he was so cute and chubby.

The airlines appreciating this quirk of fate, arranged for Xu to be paired with Fang for his internship.

It was then that they took the chance to recreate the picture from 15 years ago.

According to Beijing Youth Daily:

"The plane model is different, and there are some differences in the position of the seat, but the feeling I had back then and now is still the same," Fang said.
