A missing person appeal was put up on Facebook on Nov. 9 by a woman looking for her elderly mother who had not returned home since Saturday afternoon.

The appeal, by one Janna Chui, shared a photo of her mother.

According to Chui, her 83-year-old mother with dementia has likely lost her way.

Chui shared with Mothership that her mother was wearing this purple blouse at that time.

Last seen at Kampung Bahru interchange

Chui's mother was last seen boarding bus service 302 at Choa Chu Kang interchange at 3:50pm on Nov. 9, 2019.

She hopes to seek help from members of the public to look for her mother.

The post has since been shared 1,600 times and it was updated on Nov. 10 that her mother was spotted in central Singapore at Kampong Bahru bus interchange at around 5pm on Saturday.

The elderly woman had apparently boarded bus service 2 from the interchange.

According to the route of bus service 2, the bus travels to Chinatown, Geylang, and Bedok before terminating at Changi Village.

Chui has made a police report and left her contact number in the post.

If you have any relevant information or seen the elderly woman you can reach out to her directly.
