Airline tells lady her luggage is 2kg over weight limit, she proceeds to wear 2.5kg worth of clothes

Airlines have a weight limit for carry-on baggage.

And they tend to be pretty strict about these regulations too.

Bag over weight limit? No problem.

According to a Facebook post by one Gel Rodriguez from the Philippines, she said that she was told by the staff at the check-in counter that her bag was above the weight limit.

A maximum allowance of 7kg was permitted for carry-on baggage. Her bag, however, was a hefty 9kg.

Instead of letting this ruin her day, she decided to take it in her stride and came up with a hilarious solution while at it:

She removed 2.5kg worth of clothes from her luggage and wore them all.

The end result? A 6.5kg carry-on luggage, a solid 0.5kg under the weight limit.

Good on her.
