From Sep. 23-25, 2019, Fu Er Dai will be giving away 500 bowls of yong tau foo daily.
Raising funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore
The event, in collaboration with Bai Nian Niang Dou Fu, hopes to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS).
CPAS works with persons with cerebral palsy or multiple disabilities to "realise their full potential and lead fulfilled, dignified lives".
The giveaway will take place at Fu Er Dai's outlet in Serangoon Gardens.
Each person is limited to one bowl a day, while stocks last.
The promotion is only valid for dine-in purposes.
Patrons who redeem a bowl are encouraged to donate a sum to CPAS. All proceeds will be directed to the welfare organisation.
Contemporary options
The eatery's Yong Tau Foo comes in four styles:
- Thai boat noodle style
- Family-sized pot

- Chili based soup
Besides these, however, Fu Er Dai also has contemporary options like abalone cheese beehoon, braised pig trotters with rice, deep-fried pork belly, and luncheon meat fries.
Prices range from S$5 to S$16 for non-pot options, and S$0.90 for boat noodle-sized bowls.
